90s Revival

Right now, every university across the country is dominated by one specific demographic: 90s kids. We are part of a generation that, when asked to remember their childhood, gets barraged with fond (debatable) recollections of butterfly clips, tie-dye, overalls, plaid miniskirts, and the ever-so-nineties puffy neon windbreaker.

If your outerwear wasn’t the colors of the Jazz solo cup, were you even from the 90s?

As a 90s kid myself and someone whose daily interactions occur almost exclusively with other 90s kids, it’s safe to say that we are a really proud group of millennials. So proud, in fact, that we’ve sped up the forty-year cycle of nostalgia to only twenty years. 90’s revival is officially here.

As an homage to the decade, here is my 90s inspired outfit:

BONUS BEAUTY TIP: The 90s were all about neutral brown lips. Almost every leading lady of the decade sported this color on their lips:

A shade I like to wear that’s reminiscent of this trend is Teddy Bare by Milani.

I hope I imparted some 90s fashion wisdom unto you readers. No matter what you wear, never forget you’re all that and a bag of chips.
