In today’s media and entertainment driven society, it is easy to lose ourselves in the Super Bowl Advertisements or Oscars nominations. We often lose sight of important news that deserves our attention or, on the contrary, we buy into what the media and our news sources say to encourage–whether intentionally or unintentionally–discriminatory practices.
