Healing the Wounded Heart Exhibit

Join The Lighthouse Journal as we continue to spread awareness of all types of love this month by visiting the 14th annual Healing the Wounded Heart Survivor Art Exhibit. As advocates of on-campus safety, our team sponsors the work of Rutgers University Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance and we encourage you to stop by the Busch Campus Center any time between now and February 26th!

Healing the Wounded Heart is an art exhibit that provides a space for survivors of interpersonal violence, including sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking, to express themselves through art. The exhibit will be displayed at the Busch Campus Center from Monday, February 22 to Friday, February 26. The exhibit is located by the Welcome desk and can be viewed during operating hours.

Our opening event and Above and Beyond Awards Ceremony will be on February 23 from 3:00-4:30 PM in the Cove in the Busch Campus Center.

The opening will highlight the exhibit, refreshments, and cookie decorating.

It will only take a moment to allow one story to be a part of your day. Though interpersonal violence is not limited to college campuses, let’s be wary of the stories around us. Let’s help prevent future violence while standing beside those, already afflicted.
