Katzenbach Hall
Cook/Douglass Campus
Katzenbach is a traditional residence hall built in 1963. It was named for Marie Hilson Katzenbach (1882-1970), trustee of Rutgers University (1932-1970). She served on the State Board of Education as member, vice president, and then president. Many women who are a part of the Douglass Residential College are a part of this living community. Katzenbach has an active Residence Hall Association through which students can get involved with leadership, advocacy, and programming initiatives for their halls [Hall Government]. This organization also allows for students to branch out to members in other halls across campus.
