Newell Apartments
Cook/ Douglass Campus

The Newell apartments built in 1973 are garden-style apartments located on the Cook campus. Campbell Hall has an active Residence Hall Associationthrough which students can get involved with leadership, advocacy, and programming initiatives for their halls. This organization also allows for students to branch out to members in other halls across campus.

Student Perspectives:

Pros:
- Nature feel
- Coed near Douglass
- Next to Cook Campus Center (has AMAZING FOOD, computer labs, and study rooms)
- Scarlet Lounge (very quiet, great place to study)
- Outdoor picnic tables and mini barbeque grills (only really used when weather is nice)

Cons:
- Inconvenient to get to laundry room
- Need to walk a lot to get to REXB and REXL
- Parking lot fills up very quickly
- Can hear noise from upstairs if you live in first floor
